In 2000, I was addicted to an online show called We Live in Public. Josh Harris lived in NYC and put cameras all over his loft for a 100 day experiment, in which he video’d everything that went down in the apartment. From phone convos, to trips to the bathroom. While Josh and company lived in front of the cameras, we watched and chatted about their lives. Some of us, making friends with the people on screen. I found it very interesting to watch his life and “fake” relationship unfold over the hundred days. In the end, it seemed everything had fallen apart, with Josh breaking up with his girlfriend and leaving NYC to live on an apple farm in the country. I knew this would not be the end for him. I expected him back sooner… but did not hear much about him for years, until now. Josh is now 50, living as a monk, back in NY. My friend, Ro, ran across this article about him, his former projects and his newest project called The Wired City, described as something like the Truman Show, with sponsors. Check out the article and let me know what you think! I can’t wait to see his next project on screen!!!
